CREATOR PROFILE

Samantha O'Brochta

Graphic Designer / Writer / Videographer
Multi-hyphenate is an understatement: Samantha writes, photographs, designs, and edits video as a matter of course—often for the same project. Living between London, New York City, and the Pacific Northwest, she brings a genuinely transatlantic sensibility to her work, and a performer's instinct for what makes an audience lean in. Her background in graphic design gives her creative work a visual coherence that distinguishes it across formats.

EXPERIENCE WITH PROPS

Samantha's creative practice spans writing, photography, graphic design, and video production, making her a one-person content studio with a distinct visual and editorial voice. Her work speaks to brands in the lifestyle, entertainment, and travel spaces, with a particular facility for content that has to function across multiple formats simultaneously. She brings both the discipline of a trained designer and the spontaneity of a street photographer to every project.

Subject Matter

Lifestyle and entertainment, with a strong current of travel running through it. Samantha's work explores the creative possibilities of daily life—whether from a window in London, a neighborhood in New York, or a trail in the Pacific Northwest—always with an eye for the angle that hasn't been covered yet.

Content Formats

Multi-format content production: written editorial, photography, graphic design, and short-form video. Samantha works with equal confidence across all of these, and her strongest work tends to integrate several at once—a piece that is as strong visually as it is in prose, as purposeful in its design as in its photography.

Get to know

Samantha O'Brochta

When you can't hop on a plane or train to get to your next destination—whatever the reason—it can feel like there's simply nothing you can do. But the urge to explore doesn't require a passport. Some of the most meaningful travel experiences I've had started at home: revisiting old journals, rediscovering photographs, finding the hidden corner of my own city through a stranger's guidebook.
